Private tutor in Brisbane, Australia
Education
I earned a Bachelor of Arts from The Australian National University. I also have a Master of Art in Philosophy from Latrobe University and a Ph.D. in Philosophy at The University of Queensland.
Experience
My tutoring experience is too extensive to itemize. Suffice it to say, I am experienced in all formats, including one-on-one, group, private, and online tutoring. I am also familiar with editing and proofing everything from high school essays to Ph.D. material. I aim always to get students to think critically about the subject matter in the humanities. I believe that we would live in a far better world if more people thought critically. In addition, I am passionate about the arts and have often performed in plays, bands, and poetry readings. I am no stranger to debating or other forms of persuasive presentation. Creativity is as important to foster as critical thought. My publications range from articles in refereed journals to science fiction stories and self-publishing in the form of zines.
