Hey! My name's Dominique (Dom for short) and I'm currently studying the Bachelor of International Studies at UQ, majoring in French and International Inequality and Development. I love my degree and am planning to go on a semester exchange to France next year! Most of the courses I tutor are political science related courses, however I also cover a broad range of other subjects in the general humanities field. I currently have a 6.25 GPA

I would describe my study style as working 'smart not hard' - this means that all of my study schedules and routine are about making my study time effective. This means that in no way do I know everything there is to know about every course I study and I certainly don't slave away for hours at a time trying to remember masses of information, but instead I maximise my time (and brain power!) to ensure myself the best results. What can I do for you? Well all of the courses that I tutor I received either a 6 or 7 when I studied it. I can show you, through my 'smart not hard' techniques, how you too can get good results! I offer a broad range of tutoring, from helping you understand the course content to assisting you to develop better organisational and time management skills! If you're not understanding some information in your course, I can help! If you're not sure how to approach an assignment, I can help! If you've got 4 assessments due all in the same week and you're freaking out, I can help! Hobbies
I'm very interested in all things drama and arts! I love performing, singing, dancing and photography. I love visiting the art galleries in Brisbane and also playing a bit of sport (soccer mostly!). I also have another part time job teaching kids to swim. I really enjoy it and find it really rewarding. In general, I just love talking to people and interacting with a wide range of age groups and nationalities.
