Experience
My 2 years of private tutoring experience has given me the skills to help students at many different levels. I can cover subjects such as 5th through 12th grade math as well as C++ and computer programming. Math is a particularly challenging subject for many students. The difficulty often comes because the student doesn't know how to relate to it and teachers that don't approach in in the most effective manner. I can teach mathematics concepts from different angles. Each lesson is personalized so I can adapt to the student's learning style and apply problems that include real-world examples. Students can therefore gain exposure to math in a way that means something to them. This is often more motivating and students have an opportunity to develop a passion for the subject. Confidence is also a major influencer in becoming a more effective learner.
