Education
Currently, I am a student at the University of Queensland studying for a Bachelor of Advanced Science with Honors. I am majoring in Mathematics. I hold a Queensland Certificate of Education, which I completed with OP 1.
Experience
I have tutored for 18 months in both Senior and Junior Mathematics B and C, consistently pushing students to try to achieve better than they think they can. I enjoy being able to share my passion with the people around me. I try to give my all whenever I tutor another student and will constantly introduce students to content above and beyond the course load if they grow particularly interested in the material. I feel math is a subject that should be accepted by a broader community and so my attitude toward teaching the subject is overall very welcoming. I achieved an 800/800 on the SAT II Mathematics Level 2 test in 2016 in preparation for an overseas college application. I have also completed several Maths courses, including Mathematics B for grades 11 and 12, Mathematics C for grades 11 and 12, Math1071, and Math1061.
