I am a visual merchandising master with a degree in Interior Design and Architecture.
Experience
I am interested in helping middle school students with Italian, though I have also taken Spanish courses in 2011 (Barcelona) and 2014 (Madrid). Learning a new language can be tough, but I'll do everything in my power to make it easier for your student. We can start by looking at some cognates to give their vocabulary a jump start. Then, I might use infographics to help them conjugate verbs and associate endings with their proper context. I will also answer any questions asked regarding grammar or sentence structure before a simple misunderstanding has an opportunity to snowball out of control. Most importantly, I'll create a learning environment where your student understands that it's okay to mispronounce a word or misplace an accent mark as part of the learning process. I can't wait to get started with your student!
