I earned my bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science and Economics from the University of New South Wales.

Experience

I have one year of experience tutoring students. I am available to tutor high school students in math subjects. I often find that when high school students are having problems with math, it is because they have missed some of the more foundational concepts earlier in their academic life. Because math concepts build on each other as the student faces more advanced material, any learning gaps from earlier can make more advanced math study difficult. Together, we can bridge any learning gaps so the student can move forward in math with confidence. I am also available to tutor students of all ages and ability levels in Mandarin Chinese. I can help beginning students with the tones, basic vocabulary, and some of the basic characters. I can help more advanced students with grammar, pronunciation, and conversational skills.

Hi my name is lily, currently doing undergrad degree actuarial science/economics at university of new south wales. My love is to travel and i spent most of the holidays overseas, i went for US on exchange last year and enjoyed it thoroughly . Language is a big enthusiasm for me, i myself is a Japanese and French learner, feel free to contact me if you like the idea of language exchange. I am a native Mandarine speaker, being born and raised up in Beijing for 20 years, i would like to share the culture and the value while teaching language. I have experience teaching children aged from 4-12 as well as adults for almost a year and i believe language is about interest as well as hard work. Mandarin is a hard language but if we work together, i am sure we could work out your own way of fun learning and see true results.
