Education
I graduated from high school in 2014 with an OP 3 and I achieved a VHA 4 in both Maths C and Maths B. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Mathematics degree at the Queensland University of Technology. I am studying a double major in statistics and computational mathematics and currently have a GPA of 6.25.
Experience
I am an experienced tutor who focuses on helping students improve their grades first and foremost. I find that students frequently lose credit not because they don't understand the concept but failed to effectively communicate what they know on an exam, so my lessons emphasize both oral and written communication skills (showing work). As the oldest of four siblings, it was often my responsibility to help the rest of the family with mathematics. This informal experience helped me learn how to adjust my methodology to my pupil's individualized needs, something I continue to do with every student I work with. I hope to be a math teacher someday and would love to begin by tutoring your student!
