Education
In 2004 I completed a Bachelor of Information Technology degree at the University of Queensland with a specialization in dynamic algorithms. I obtained a Dean's Commendation for Academic Excellence 3 times and achieved an overall GPA of 6 out of 7. I then went on to complete a master's degree in finance and investment banking in 2012 at the London School of Business and Finance after being awarded a corporate scholarship.
Experience
I am an Australian former software developer with 8 years of experience working in the software development field. I also have experience working as a statistics and econometrics tutor in London. My methodology is based on the communicative approach of Noam Chomsky and others that involves exposing the student to a simple exercise, concepts, or instructions, as well as how to use them, then review the exercise and follow on to more advanced exercises or projects. I have experience and expertise in BIS aptitude testing in business analysis for which I obtained a score of 100%, BIS aptitude testing in programming and logic for which I obtained a score of 98%, RG 146: Diploma of Investment Planning in Managed Investments, Securities, and Derivatives, as well as the trading and financial market analysis certificate through Amplify Trading.
