I achieved high grades across all high school subjects I undertook. I was awarded the Dean's Commendation for Academic Excellence for the first semester at university in 2016. I earned my bachelor's degree in Law and Economics from the University of Queensland with a GPA of 6.75/ 7, which is an OP 1 equivalent.
Experience
I have a fun and outgoing personality and believe in having meaningful interactions with students to make tutoring a positive experience. Students typically go through enormous stress in school and I feel that tutoring is meant to put them at ease while I assist them, not pressure them further. I have more than three years of combined tutoring experience where I have worked with students in biology, maths, and English. I would like to be a tutor now to help current students improve their grades and gain a better understanding of their subjects. It wasn't that long ago that I completed high school and achieved distinctions, so I believe I am able to provide assistance in these subject areas.
