I have a diploma in languages (Spanish) and a diploma in government, as well as a bachelor's degree in environmental science.
Experience
I have experience tutoring Spanish at the university level and am an English tutor for high school and tertiary students as well. While working one-on-one with students, I can help in translating texts from Spanish to English. I can also cover grades 9 and 10 English and math topics as well as concepts in biology. My experience enables me to focus on each student's individual needs while structuring lessons based on their learning style, interests, and the progress that they make along the way. I can apply different teaching methods and learning materials if necessary and reteach a concept in different ways if the student has difficulties understanding it. I teach with practice and repetition and welcome any questions that a student has, at any time, and will provide detailed answers, advice, and guidance.
