Education
I completed a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree with a specialization in Chemistry at the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka. I then went on to complete a Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry at the Queensland University of Technology in Australia.
Experience
I have been working as a senior and visiting lecturer for organic chemistry for undergraduate university students for one year. I have prior experience working as a chemistry tutor for undergraduate students for one year, as well as previously working as a chemistry laboratory demonstrator for undergraduate students for nearly two years. With expert tutoring sessions tailored to specific needs and unique learning styles, my students always set the pace for their learning and decide what material to cover and when to cover it. In addition to all of this, my private tutoring sessions give students the opportunity to benefit from individualized one-on-one attention, prompt answers to their questions, and regular feedback on their learning and progress.
