Education

I graduated from SCNU with BSc, majored in Physics and Physics Teaching. I also obtained my PhD in Physics from Monash University. Having worked in education and related areas for over 30 years. I have developed a variety of learning and teaching strategies for both high-school and university students in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. In terms of the outcome of my teaching, some of my early students have become professionals in several countries, including Prof Zhang who has published several papers in Physics Review Letters.

Experience

University Students I had taught many students both in China and Australia. I had over 10 years experience in teaching in university. I had taught all subjects in General Physics, Calculus, Differential Equations, Fourier and Laplace Transforms, Linear Algebra. Some of my students come form Queensland University, QTU, Griffth etc, both undergraduate and master degree students. Having published over 20 research papers and two books, I am good at essay writhing, editing and proofreading. I used to be a referee for Journal of Magnetic Resonance. High-School Students I started tutoring high school students in Melbourne during the 1990s while I worked in Monash Uni and CSIRO. Recently, I have been tutoring an Australian team member who are preparing for an International Physics Tournament. I can help students in planning their assignments and writing first-class reports as I have published over 20 research papers in Physics. Besides, I am an experienced and award-winning editor. As one of the invited authors, I wrote Chapter 2, Field-Swept versus Frequency-Swept Spectra, in Handbook of Electron Spin Resonance, Vol. 2, edited by C.P. Poole, Jr. and H.A. Farach, and published by Springer-Verlag in New York (1999). I had also been contracted to develop state-of-the-art instruments for researchers in material science, life science, food technologies, and nanometer atomic structure. One of them is called Dynamic Nuclear Polarization NMR spectrometer.

Hobbies

I started building short-wave radio when I was in middle school. Meanwhile I was good at portrait drawing, which enables me to make some pocket money when I was a student. I am also an award-winning science video director and editor. By the way, I also studied anti-tumor antibiotic bleomycin intercalated n DNA molecules by means of electron spin resonance spectroscopy. So, I am sure I can tell my students more than what their textbooks say to enable them to enter a prestigious univeristy.
