I have a master's degree in Japanese literature, which I earned in 1994. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Language Study from 1984. I also hold a Higher Education Certificate.
Experience
I am an extremely experienced Japanese tutor in Brisbane. I have more than 35 years of experience teaching Japanese at universities and high schools in Singapore, and Australia. I helped many university students with assignments, essay writing, and speaking. I am very familiar with High School Japanese and IB courses. I have helped many students achieve a GPA of 6 or 7 in the past. I have tutored JAPN 3102, JAPN 2023, JAPN 3110, and JAPN 3004. I also tutor high school students between years 5 and 12 with their senior certificate examinations , Most of those students earned A's or A+'s through my tutoring. I have been a member of the Japanese Foundation since 2005 and a member of the Japanese teachers association since 2005. I have served as a Japanese language proficiency examiner.
