I was an English tutor in Taiwan, and my native language is Chinese. I have taken part in many competitions for speech and writing. I can create an easy-going and positive environment, and I have experience in teaching students ranging in age from six to 12. I am able to give students the support they need while encouraging them to make the most of their opportunities. My knowledge of English, combined with my fluency in Chinese, allows me to provide excellent instruction in Chinese. During one-on-one sessions, I can help students with whatever skills or concepts are most important for them. Without having to accommodate the needs of other learners, I can help each student learn Chinese in ways that fit how they internalize concepts best.
