I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography Information Systems from Sun Yat-Sen University in China and a Master of Business degree in Marketing and Human Resource Management from the University of Queensland in Australia.
Experience
I'm interested in tutoring because I wish to meet new people and help others. I was a math tutor for one year in China and six months for 11th-graders in Australia, so I understand how to help students pursue their goals. I am comfortable teaching math to students in grades 1-12. I natively speak both Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese and can teach either as a foreign language. I can also help students prepare for certain standardized exams such as AP Chinese and AP Chinese Language and Culture. Both math and Chinese can feel difficult, but I believe that all students can succeed in them with the help of a patient instructor. If you give me a chance I promise that I won't let you down!
