I am about to enter my 4th year of university, changing to the QUT degree Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Electrical and Aerospace) from Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace Avionics). After having a difficult year, personally, last year (2016) I have extended my degree by 12 months and will be finishing my degree over 5 years.
Experience
My mother is a teacher in primary school. I have grown up around the education system. I would like to become a tutor to be able to help children better themselves or those who need help. As I am an Engineering major, the relevant classes I have taken in my degree are: Foundations of Mathematics for Engineering, Mathematics for Engineering 1 and Mathematics for Engineering 2. In my preparatory course for entrance into university I took the equivalent of senior high school maths A and maths B. On the Special Tertiary Admissions Test my maths result was in the 94th percentile of those who sat the test in that year.
