Education
I completed a Bachelor of Science degree specializing in Chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry in Sri Lanka, passing with honors. I then went on to complete a Master of Science degree specializing in Analytical Chemistry from Northumbria University in the UK, passing with distinction. After this, I completed a Ph.D. in Chemistry, with 37 Research publications, at the University of St. Andrews in the UK. I am currently a Research and Teaching fellow at the School of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences at the University of Queensland.
Experience
I have more than 10 years of experience teaching students in Chemistry and have produced excellent results over the years, with many of my students going on to achieve the best results they ever have in their university education. I provide students with exam-oriented and in-depth preparation to help them obtain excellent scores in university, GAMSAT, and IB Chemistry examinations. I teach more challenging concepts using a unique method to help students understand and apply their knowledge easily. I also drill students on difficult and poorly answered sections. I also provide guidance and assistance to students on time management and examination techniques to help them improve in these areas.
