Education
I completed a bachelor's degree specializing in Land Administration at Vietnam National University in 2009. I have also completed a master's degree specializing in Environmental Science and Technology from RMIT University Melbourne.
Experience
I have 7 years of experience working in the field of GIS, remote sensing, and digital cartography. I am proficient in using ArcGIS, QGIS, ENVI, ERDAS, and MicroStation SE. I have published several research papers on the study of detecting and quantifying water-land-air pollution by using remote sensing imagery. I am experienced in providing students from different universities including RMIT, the University of Melbourne, Macquarie University, and La Trobe University with tutoring services and assistance with assignments related to Remote Sensing, GIS, and Digital Mapping. Some of the projects I have undertaken include the utilization of remote sensing and GIS technology for the establishment of databases and trend maps of wastewater pollution sites from urban and industrial zones, which belong to the Northern key economic region, and to warn of pollution risk areas, the revision of the national system of topographic maps at scales of 1:25,000 and 1:50,000 in order to update and correct the national system of topographic maps, as well as studying the method of establishing spectral libraries utilizing satellite imagery for land cover types to serve natural resources and environment monitoring in Vietnam, and finally, applying remote sensing technology to study the capability of detecting and monitoring a number of air pollutants in urban and industrial areas.
