Education
I obtained my Bachelor of Civil and Structural Engineering with First Class Honours from the Queensland University of Technology. I also hold a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science from Griffith University.
Experience
I have a variety of teaching experiences under my belt. I tutored Mathematics and Physics at a Secondary School level. I provided in-class tutoring of advanced engineering principles in a collaborative learning environment. I was a laboratory assistant and instructor for water flow characteristics and modeling. As an AusAID tutor, I supported International students based on 1-on-1 peer mentoring. In addition, I frequently provided feedback to parents, children, and some schooling staff to ensure student goals are identified and acquired. I am a flexible, patient, and friendly individual with a passion for teaching. I try to maximize collaborative and interactive learning by creating a positive teaching environment for students. I can simplify math and Physics concepts to help students understand the material is not as complicated as it seems.
