Education

After completing my Bachelors in Economics and Politics, I am currently pursuing a dual Masters degree in Development Economics and Public Policy.

Experience

I have 6+ years of experience in tutoring both children as well as adults. During my undergraduate, I was the director of a program for teaching adults the English Language for Beginners. I was awarded the Best Teacher award for that course. I have also worked as a freelancer, helping high school and university students perfect their written essays and assignments. My assignments have always received B+ and above. My biggest achievement was improving a D student's grade to A+ (in anthropology). My subjects of interest are Economics, History, English, and IELTS. I want to be a tutor because I love teaching, it is my source of happiness! I not only love the act of teaching, but I also enjoy prepping for the class. I believe audio-visual learning is extremely beneficial, which is why I like to add relevant audio-visual aids in my classes as well. As a tutor, I want my students to first understand the concepts clearly. Secondly, I want to ensure that my student has a comprehensive analysis of their progress. I put in a great amount of effort upon every individual student; in preparing material of class, taking out relevant material for additional knowledge as well as preparing flashcards/assessments, etc. to ensure that the student has a complete grasp over every topic I have taught.
