Education
I have completed a Bachelor of Communication with double majors in Creative Writing and Journalism, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors: Class 1, Division 1. In addition to this, I have also obtained a Doctor of Creative Arts degree with a specialization in Creative Writing.
Experience
I am an author and academic and have worked as a sessional tutor at the University of Queensland and the University of the Sunshine Coast. I hold a Doctorate in Creative Writing and am passionate about creativity and literature. I love helping others to develop strong writing and communication skills. I have run school-holiday writing workshops at bookshops, and presented workshops for kids and adults, respectively at literary events such as Voices on the Coast. I understand that everyone is at a different reading and writing level and enjoy teaching children, teens and adults! I tailor lessons for the individuals involved, and try to engage different learning styles.
