I graduated Brisbane State High School in 2017 with an Overall Position of 1 (ATAR 99.65) and received a Certificate of Academic Commendation for achieving VHAs in my six Authority subjects (English, Japanese, Economics, Mathematics B, Chemistry, Physics). I am now currently a scholarship receiver in my 2nd year of Bachelor of Medical Imaging at The Queensland University.
Experience
I have been tutored numerous students between grade 7 and grade 12 in high school subjects, in particular Physics and Chemistry. I also offer to tutor a broad range of subjects at a primary school level, as well as English, Maths and Economic subjects up to Grade 12. I particularly enjoy teaching the sciences as my time in the Fast Track Science Program in high school was very rewarding and academically challenging. I can prepare worksheets tailored to the student's needs as well as provide numerous textbooks to help the students. I'm happy to go through student's assignments, going through problems step by step and help them achieve the best score they can on exams. In particular, I aim to help students have a positive and organised approach to their learning, time management and assessment work. All in all, this will not only help their studies but will also be a skill they can carry throughout life and be applied to future endeavours and work. I hold a manual drivers license, and am readily available to drive to you for tutoring in the Brisbane area. I'm available weekdays after 4pm and all day Tuesday and Thursday. I also hold a Child-related employment Blue Card.
