Education
I completed a Bachelor of Business in Communication (Public Relations) in 2002 at the Queensland University of Technology. More recently in 2018, I completed a Master of Business Process Management, with a GPA of 6.33, also at the Queensland University of Technology.
Experience
During my time at university, I worked across the private industry in journalism, and in federal, state, and local government in communication roles and business analysis. Other courses I completed include Business Process Improvement, Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt), Project Management (Agile), and Organisational Writing and Editing. I've spent the past year researching and learning Robotic Process Automation (RPA) programs including WorkFusion and UiPath to understand how simple tasks in the workplace can be completed by software. I have experience including more than 10 years in media, marketing, and communication roles and five years in business improvement. During this time, I have been tutoring in writing and editing, including preparing presentations, conducting effective research, and business improvement including process modelling and business analysis.
