Education
I have two personal training certificates: Cert III Fitness and Cert IV Fitness. I completed the Level 1 ASCA Strength & Conditioning Coach accredited course. I have a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Queensland. I majored in Clinical Exercise Physiology and graduated with Class 1 Honors. I am also trained in additional areas, including manual therapies such as Dry Needling and Western Acupuncture, as well as Real-Time Ultrasonography.
Experience
I have been a general & clinical anatomy tutor and demonstrator for the University of Queensland since 2015. I began working as a Clinical Educator at the same institution in 2018 with incredibly positive feedback from students and course staff alike. I am also currently in full clinical practice as an exercise physiologist, in addition to providing guidance as a sports performance coach. I have additional experience in various research roles with two recent peer-review journal publications in the areas of exercise and oncology and cancer care. I have taken a variety of university-level courses, as well as tutored them, including anatomy, biology, biomechanics, human development, life sciences, neuroscience, physiology, nutrition, and pathophysiology.
