Education
I have a bachelor's degree with honours in Psychological Science, which I completed at the University of Queensland. I also have a Certificate IV in Community Services. I am currently completing a Master of Clinical Psychology at Bond University.
Experience
Tutoring students was a large part of my role as a CSO and Case Manager. The roles involved me helping children and young people with homework and assignments on a regular basis. This involved helping them to understand and conceptualise the assignment tasks by breaking them down into manageable steps to make tasks seem more achievable, brainstorming, sound-boarding, mind mapping, and editing. I have also assisted friends through undergrad and postgrad levels in generating ideas for their assignments as well as proofreading and editing. I have successfully completed and discovered a passion for certain subjects that I would like to pass onto my students. These include Developmental Psychology; Counseling, Psychotherapies, and Clinical Skills; Psychology and Educational Contexts; and Industrial and Organisational Psychology.
