Education

I attended school at the Phu Nhuan High School in Vietnam where I majored in Literature, Math, and English, and earned a GPA of 9.1/ 10.0. I then attended the University of Economics in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam where I majored in Business in English and earned a GPA of 3.5/ 4.0. I then graduated from the Queensland University of Technology with a degree in Accounting.

Experience

I am a native Vietnamese speaker. My major in high school was literature. I have excellent proficiency in the Vietnamese language. I scored 780/800 on my SAT Math section after preparing on my own. On the IELTS Academic, I earned an 8.5 in Reading and an 8.0 in Listening. I have more than five years of experience tutoring and mentoring students in mathematics. I have more than two years of tutoring students in English. In 2016, I placed second in biology in a provincial contest for gifted pupils. In 2014, I earned the bronze medal in Vietnamese History in the National Olympic Competition by the Ministry of Education.

My teaching method based on imagination, which means the students are able to learn the core knowledge through stories and reality examples. As a former Vietnamese student, I spent most of my time studying. Thus, my knowledge is well maintained after leaving school, so you don't have to worry about my academic aspect, especially my Vietnamese, English, and Mathematics skill. Beside my major, which is accounting at university, my interest lays on History, Math and Languages in general. In my free time, I also enjoy playing sport. Badminton, swimming and table tennis are the most appealing to me. Also, I can play 3 musical instruments well, organize outdoor games for groups, and teamwork.
