Education
In 2009, I graduated from Runcorn State High School with an OP 1. I completed the Dean's Scholars Accelerated Applied Science Program at QUT, majoring in Biochemsitry in 2011. In 2013, I am completing honours in Biomedical Science at QUT.
Experience
Currently I work as a demonstrator/tutor in first year biology classes at QUT. I have worked as a note-taker for QUT where I made simplified notes of the complex topics discussed during lectures and tutorials for regional students who cannot physically attend classes. I want to be a tutor because I believe students are much more intelligent then they give themselves credit for and that if someone sits down with them and instills confidence into them, that they have the potential to succeed. I know this from my own personal experience. I believe that the fact I got an OP1, more than qualifies me to be a tutor for any high school student as I have not only experienced but also overcome the academic hurdles that they are currently facing.

Hobbies
My hobbies include engaging in sports such as tennis, table-tennis, basketball, soccer and long distance running. I also enjoy reading and playing the piano in my leisure time.
