Private tutor in Brisbane, Australia

Education

I completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree specializing in Civil and Structural Engineering from the Queensland University of Technology Dean Scholars Program with a GPA of 5.6. I have also completed a master's degree in Project Management with a GPA of 5.5.

Experience

I have 4 years of experience working as a private tutor and also previously helped my school and university friends with their studies. I achieved a QLD high school score of OP 2 which is approximately 96%. I would like to work as a tutor to inspire my students to see the wonderful world of mathematics and physics because once I understood these subjects well, I found them to be amazing, fun, and interesting. I have experience tutoring high school physics, maths B and C, and IPT (computer technology). I have also been a referee for 8 years at the local basketball club and have gone on overseas exchanges to Germany and Turkey. Tutoring sessions with me will help you develop a happy attitude toward learning!

Hobbies

I am an uplifting and easy to approach university student with a keen interest in the sciences and their context. Currently I'm studying engineering, on an interesting note, as my final year thesis I am investigating strategies to improve the education of first year engineering at QUT. I've always had an interest in sciences and mathematics, and I wish to inspire others to find this amazing world which is usually overlooked. Personally my favorite is physics and the connections it has with everything around us. Also I love the problem solving within IPT and programming, it is a very unique and amazing feeling solving a tough and challenging problem. And finally after an international exchange I have grown fond of German and Turkish culture and their languages, while in Germany I obtained an A2 level proficiency. My interest in tutoring is to inspire the next generation into these many beautiful yet overlooked worlds of science, engineering and languages.
